Role Play Basics

Locations
I am comfortable doing:
- Comments
- Chats: I'm okay with this one but I tend to like longer rps and too many comments get muddled after awhile.
- Notes
- Forum
- Skype
- Google Docs
- Other: So long as I don't have to sign up for anything and you ask me beforehand.

Participants
I am comfortable with:
- One on one role plays.
- Up to three people
- Up to four people.
- Five or more people!: For some groups/group events this is a necessity, but so long as it's organized it's fine
- As big as possible!: Same as above

Post Length
I usually write about:
- One or two sentences.
- One or two paragraphs.
- Two to five paragraphs. Its usually for world building/character description/backstory. I don't mind it as much on Doc rps though ^^
- More than five paragraphs.
- A few pages worth.

I am comfortable role-playing with people who write:
- One or two sentences.
- One or two paragraphs.
- Two to five paragraphs. Again, so long as its not an every-other-post thing, that's fine. 
- More than five paragraphs. That's like school work, lol >>
- A few pages worth.

Role-play Requests
I like getting requests from:
- Anyone and everyone at any time! If I'm not in the chat currently, feel free to note me!
- When I ask for role-plays.
- From friends and acquaintances.
- From friends only. 

Romantic Relationships
** Important: Communication is the key to a real life relationship, it shouldn't be abandoned for a fictional one either! Be sure to talk to your partners when considering romance!

Shipping
I am comfortable shipping my characters:
- Never.
- Our characters know each other deeply.
- Our characters know each other deeply, and I know I can trust the role-player.
- At the first sign of flirting! 
- Only if the role-player and I plan it. Tbh I love shipping but I like it spontaneous too!
- It depends on the character.

If you want to ship with my characters:
- Talk to me about it from the start. Again, spontaneity. Besides, I'd rather rp first and see how much chemistry our characters actually have.
- Talk to me about it once our characters know each other...
- Talk to me about it once they both have some feelings for each other.
- Talk to me about it when they finally decide that want to go beyond hugging.

Speed
When shipping my characters, I like the romance to happen:
- Swift as lightening! Depends on the character, and the chemistry of course. 
- Fast, but not super fast.
- Happens in about three months.
- Slow and steady wins the race. It depends, but by this point I'll start to get a bit impatient! Lol
- Slugs know what's up! Same as above.
- My relationships know no speed. They happen if they happen...

Smut
When my characters gets intimate, I prefer:
- To skip the act entirely.
- To write the build up, but skip the act.
- To write the act only if it is very special, but otherwise skip it. I don't really know anyone I rp with that well to feel comfortable.
- To write the act all the way through. Same as above.

Romantic Artwork
When it comes to artwork depicting our relationship please:
- Do not post it at all without talking to me. Nope! I like being surprised with fluff!
- Post it if it is cuddles and hugs.
- Post it if it is kisses.
- Post it if it is much more... If I'm not gonna write it, I wouldn't want it drawn either...
- Do not post it at all if it depicts sexual acts!
- Do not post it where I can see it, but draw what you like! I love seeing my ocs in different styles - I'm a bit vain - so I like seeing all the art!

Dramatics
** Important: Always be sure to communicate with your partner individually if you think you are about to go outside their comfort zones even just the slightest bit!!

Violence
When it comes to violent situations, I am comfortable with:
- No violence at all!
- I'm fine with verbal arguments!
- Some violence, like a paper cut, or an accidental elbow to the face.
- Mild violence, such as punching, kicking, hair pulling.
- Violence, such as stabbings: Yes, but if my character loses an eye or a limb that's too far.
- Beyond violence, such as torture and more... I generally don't rp in groups that dark anyways.

If you are going to do something violent, please:
- Don't do it at all.
- Talk to me about it first.
- Surprise me! Again generally I'm fine with this, but if it can't be anything permanent or severally scarring to my ocs without my permission. 

Dramatic Artwork
- Do not post any dramatic scenes that that happened between our characters.
- Talk to me about it before posting!: If you're really worried it crosses a line then, yes, I'd like to sign off on it.
- Post what you like!

Other

Physical Contact : (Taken from Kipyo)

I'm cool with my characters being touched if:
Formalities / Ordinary gestures / Something that usually happens (such as hand shakes)
Nothing dramatic (sexual / violent / inappropriate) Grated, you won't get the same response from each character...

If my kid dislikes/hates yours, that doesn't mean I hate you, too!
If I hated everyone Emma had a problem with...,lol. But yeah, generally I've met cool people with rps. If you feel uncomfortable around me or think I have some issue with you then tell me - I'm not a mind reader so I can't clarify what I don't know about!

• I have all the chapters of Lily's Flowering Days: Sophomore Songs done, they just need a twinge more editing, but the next chapter should be up tomorrow. I'm hoping to have all chapters out before mid-August, when I have to go back to school. 

• The next chapter of Sunny and the Midnight Moon should be up this Friday. Again, I have the art finished, but as I said in the story proper, I had to cut that chapter in half, and the second part needs to be completely rewritten. 

• I'm sorry I've been pretty inactive. There have been legit issues lately but also I let other things get to me that shouldn't have and to be perfectly honest, I just was moping instead of being productive. I'm trying to shake myself out of now, hopefully.

• On a brighter note, I'm gonna be editing my page a lot so sorry if it's a bit weird sometimes.

There has been a family tragedy and I have to go cross-country for a funeral. I'll probably be gone from Thursday to Sunday or Monday, I'm not sure which. I'm sorry for any readers, I appreciate every favorite or comment I get for the story and if you go to the tumblr I'll probably post some fun facts or something to make up for the lateness. Chapter 9 will probably be up on the 24th. And hopefully I can start posting Lily's Flowering Day's: Sophomore Songs by June's end. 

Recliff and ThunderSpade tagged me to do Aislinn! So I'm gonna do 16 instead of the usual.

1. For Aislinn's current design I took inspiration from both the Malaysian tapir and the "dream eater" chimera in Chinese and Japanese folklore.
2. Speaking of which, Aislinn's homeland, Empayar, is based on Malaysia in environment and in language. I, admittedly, only decided that half-way through my first year of RP-ing with her, which is why Aislinn would say she forgot where she lived if asked before.
3. She's an extrovert (ENFP) in that not only does she love being around lots of people, but also if she is alone for too long she'll get depressed and, of course, more lazy.
4. Since she's spoken to Animae-Daemon's Daemyn, she's started growing flowers outside her window in the Violaceus dorms, moonflowers and tulips (Ciramath's favorite flowers). ^^
5. She's almost the complete opposite of my other active RP character, Emma Hirsh. While Emma is poor, active, and grumpy, Aislinn is rich, sleepy, and cheerful. They both share a love of cooking however. I didn't plan for it to happen like that but it just did. >>
6. Gets her sweet tooth from her father - along with her wind eden inclination, her red hair, and her shortness. Otherwise, she looks like a younger clone of her mother. 
7. Aislinn doesn't talk about him often, but she has a cousin who is twice her age. He didn't visit her much and she remembers him as being kind of a jerk when he was around. She remembers not liking one of her maternal aunts - his mother - as well.
8. She's decided she wants to be a healer or nurse when she grows up.
9. Aislinn has only recently discovered what her parents do for a living, or did as they retired recently. However, she only understands that they did work for the Prime Minister that made them travel a lot and put them in considerable danger often, Aislinn doesn't know the specific details.
10. She plans to grow out her hair till it reaches her knees or even longer, so Aislinn always puts effort into maintaining her hair if nothing else. 
11. I didn't plan for Aislinn to be a warrior-type character, but a support/defensive one which is why she hasn't taken many offensive-spell classes. I felt like I had other characters - in RPs or my writing and so on - who are action-orientated and having one who isn't would be a challenge. 
12. Aislinn does know a tiny bit of sewing, but not enough to make outfits or anything. Just so that she can make holes for her tail in the clothes she buys. She's working up to making ribbons. 
13. She was born a few weeks premature, due to her mother's age and stress. They didn't have enough time to make it to Empayar so they had her at the nearest hospital and gave her a name based on where she was born. They spent a month there till it was safe to bring baby Aislinn home but her parents have been overprotective ever since.
14. Aislinn is the youngest character I've RP-ed - starting at age 12 - but she's also the oldest active RP character I've had - I've been playing her for 1 year and 5 months. ^^
15. She most definitely wants to learn how to fly, or at least float.
16. She no longer worries about her safety or the safety of her friends at the Academy. She thinks that since nothing too bad happened last year nothing will happen ever again >>
